How many cleanses should I order?

If you are just starting your cleanse, we suggest starting with 2 full cleanses (2 packs of Pearls or 2 packs of Steaming Herbs). Due to every woman being different, we do not recommend any dosages for healing diseases or chronic pain. To see if our products will be beneficial to you and your body, we suggest doing a thorough cleanse. 

How often should I detox?

We suggest detoxing every 2-3 weeks.

How often should I do a steaming detox and how long should I steam?

Femme Detox Steaming Herbs - 2x per month for 30-45 minutes.

How do I know if/when that I purged?

After detoxing, you will begin to purge/discharge. Once the purge is complete, please allow an additional 1-3 days as some discharge may still come out. 

What is purging?

Purging is the removal of toxins that are in your body. After completing your Femme Detox Yoni Pearls your body will begin to get rid of the waste from your womb. Within 3-8 days after removal, your purging process will begin. A white discharge may be noticeable. Do not pull on this, as it will come out on it’s own. All of this is the normal process for purging. If you are experiencing dryness, please use the Femme Detox Yoni Oil (only apply 1-2 drops) in areas needed. As with any detox, you should drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated. 

Why can I not use them if I am breastfeeding, pregnant or have a hymen intact?

Due to the pearls being inserted into your body, we do not recommend using a detox. The herbs within our products are absorbed into your body and will come through your breastmilk or could affect your pregnancy. 

We ask women not to detox during pregnancy as each woman's body reacts differently when pregnant. What could be perfectly fine for one pregnancy could cause complications in another. It is best to let your body do what it naturally does whilst pregnant.

If you have a hymen intact, we do not recommend using our products, but the choice is yours. 

Can using the pearls and steam affect my pH balance?

There is a possibility that using the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls could offset your pH Balance. This could result in a yeast infection for some women. We suggest using our Femme Vibe Cleanse Suppository & Applicator as an all-natural remedy. 

Can detoxing cause a yeast infection?

Yes, detoxing can cause a yeast infection for some women. We suggest using our Femme Vibe Cleanse Suppository & Applicator as an all-natural remedy. 

Is it safe to use while on birth control/IUD/permanent birth control?

If you are using an IUD, we like to advise that due to our products' natural herbs, you may be at risk of your IUD coming out during your purge. It is not very common, but we like to advise before purchasing. 

Inserted Permanent Birth Control - we do not recommend using the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls.

Can I use the products while on my menstrual?

Menstruation is a form of detox that your body naturally undertakes. Detoxing at the same time will not give you clear results so we ask women not to use the pearls on their period, and to wait 3 days afterwards so that their hormone level normalizes.

What happens if I come on my menstrual while detoxing? 

If your cycle begins during your detoxing, remove your Femme Detox Yoni Pearl. Once your cycle has ended, wait 3-4 days to resume your detox. If you are in the final stages of your detox, please wait 5-7 days for purging. 

Can I detox and have sexual intercourse?

You should not have intercourse whilst you are detoxing as you could spread any bacteria that is being expelled to other areas on the genitals. We also ask women to refrain from intercourse for 3 days after a detox so that any bacteria or toxins that are still being purged are not spread to other areas

Can I use more than one Yoni Pearl at a time?

During the process of using the pearls, you should only insert 1 Yoni Pearl at a time for the 24-hour duration.

I am trying to conceive, when should I use the pearls?

If you are trying to conceive, we suggest using our products 3-4 days after your menstrual cycle to detox and cleanse your womb.

I am having a hard time inserting the 2nd pearl, what do I do?

If you are having issues inserting your Femme Detox Yoni Pearls, please refrain from usage; as this is a sign of early purging. 

Can I use this if I have had a hysterectomy?

Yes, you can.

Can I drink alcohol and use the cleanse at the same time?

Yes, you can.

I am spotting, is that normal?

Our products promote a healthy blood flow, so you may experience some spotting throughout your process. 

My pearl still looks the same after being removed, is that normal?

Yes that is normal and in many cases,  many women's pearls upon removal will look the same as it did when inserting it.

How soon after giving birth, miscarriage or abortion can I use this?

3 months after, if you are not breastfeeding. 

Can I use the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls and Steaming Herbs at the same time?

No, you cannot use the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls and Steaming Herbs as the same time. 

I have both the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls and Steaming Herbs, which one should I use first?

The choice is yours. There is no specific order in which comes first, it’s your preference. If you decide to use the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls first, wait at least 5-7 days before doing a steaming session. If you choose to do the Femme Detox Steaming Herbs, wait at least 3-5 days to use the Yoni Pearls. 

Which is more effective, Femme Detox Pearls or the Steaming Herbs?

If you are looking to do a full detox/cleanse, we suggest using the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls. 

Can I use the Steaming Herbs while I am on my menstrual?

We do not recommend using the Femme Detox Steaming Herbs during your menstrual cycle. Our steaming herbs increases your blood flow for a more holistic cleansing process. Using the steaming herbs during your cycle could be dangerous. 

Why should this not be used if on hormone replacement therapy or facing kidney disease?

Being on hormone replacement therapy or facing kidney disease are factors that may negatively interact with one of the herbs in our steam.

Will my doctor recommend doing a vaginal steam?

Most medically trained doctors are not familiar with holistic practices such as vaginal steaming and detoxing and they would most likely not recommend it for you. 

If I have horrible cramping on my cycle, when should I steam?

It is recommended to steam a week before your cycle 1-2x.

I have had a full/ partial hysterectomy before, can I use this?

Yes, but we do not recommend using the products directly after having surgery. Please wait for 6 weeks to start your Femme Detox sessions.  

How can I get the pearl out without the string hanging?

If you do not see your string hanging, please remove the pearls gently by using your fingers and if it still does not come out then kindly visit a doctor as soon as possible.

What is best if there is Scratching and discharge?

We recommend using the Yoni Oil, Yoni Wash and Yoni Pearls

Using the Vibe pH Strips, what is a normal pH level?

A normal vaginal pH level is between 3.8 and 4.5, which is moderately acidic.

When can I use the pearls?

Pregnant: We ask women not to detox during pregnancy as each woman's body reacts differently when pregnant. What could be perfectly fine for one pregnancy could cause complications in another. It is best to let your body do what it naturally does whilst pregnant.

Breast feeding: We are a holistic company that believes the natural process of pregnancy, menstruation and breastfeeding should not be disturbed by interference.

Medication: Our products are holistic and organic; they are safe to use in conjunction with medication.

Contraception: The pearls can be used in conjunction with any contraception, but we ask women to not use the pearls if the IUD has been inserted within the last month.

Is there any age limit to use the products?

We recommend ages 18 & above.

How to use Femme Pearl Gliders?

Remove the glider from the packaging. Pull the inner tube out. Unravel the string on the pearl and place it through the bottom portion of the glider. Place the top part of the glider back on. Insert the glider into your Vibe, push the glider in and the pearl will be inside of you with the string hanging (just like a tampon)

Do the Steaming Herbs cause a purge/discharge like the Femme Detox Yoni Pearls?

No, the Steaming Herbs will not cause the same effects of purging as our Yoni Pearls. The moist heat opens the pores of the body allowing amazing absorption into your bloodstream and provides a direct healing effect on the reproductive system.  Vaginal tissue has amazing absorption properties.  In fact, it is the most absorbent tissue of the body, therefore providing an excellent method for introducing healing properties to your entire body system. 

Can you sit in the tub with the yoni pearl inside you?

Yes, you can.

Orders placed generally take 1-3 business days for processing prior to leaving our USA warehouse!

Refunds/Returns/Cancellations

Please note that due to the intimate nature of the products, all sales are final.  Under special circumstances, store credit will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by our Customer Service team prior to shipping products back to us!

Updating Order or Shipping Address

Order updates are only available prior to the order being fulfilled by our warehouse. If an order has already been processed and/or shipped, it will be too late to update an address or the order. 

If you need to update your order for any reason, reach out to us as soon as possible to ensure we are able to make any edits to the order prior to its shipping.

 If your package has already shipped out or has been processed by our warehouse, any address changes can be made by you directly with the shipping carrier.

Missing Items/Package Not Received

If an item was missing in the package, notify us as soon as possible.  Prior to reaching out to us, please verify if you have more than one tracking number. Different products may come from different warehouses. Individual items sometimes come in separate packages.

You must notify us of any missing items within (24 hours) of delivery.

Contact us with the invoice number, contact information, and a list of missing items.

Please send us the picture of the package where there is a description of what was in the box and also a picture of what was received.

Once we have received the claim from you, along with the package and product images, a  customer representative will inspect your order & contact you concerning the matter.

Please note that certain countries’ customs can delay packages by weeks, which is entirely out of our control. Please be patient and contact your local customs agency for questions about releasing items.

Note: Customers are responsible for any international customs charges imposed by their respective country.

We offer shipping insurance for an additional $2.99 per order at checkout. This covers lost, stolen, and damaged packages. From the time of delivery of the package, a customer has 24 hours to report a lost, stolen, or damaged package. If customers do not select this option at checkout, their package is not insured internally at Femme Detox and will have to file a claim with the courier of the package.

If customer pays for this shipping insurance, he/she will be eligible for only one claim with Femme Detox for a new package to be sent out. Proof of damaged items must accompany any claims. Please email support@femmedetox.com with supporting evidence to file a claim.

Refused/Unclaimed Packages

Any refused or unclaimed packages will be returned to our warehouse. If a customer requests reshipment of a package due to it being returned to our warehouse, it will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for reshipment of the item.
