This shipping insurance covers lost, stolen, and damaged packages. From the time of delivery of the package, customer has 48 hours to report a lost, stolen, or damaged package. If customers do not select this option at checkout, their package is not insured internally at Femme Detox and will have to file claims with the courier of the package.
If customer pays for this shipping insurance, he/she will be eligible for only one claim with Femme Detox for a new package to be sent out. Proof of damaged items must accompany any claims. Please call (708) 831-2545 to file any claim.

I take comfort in having the extra layer of protection - just in case my package is lost or damaged in shipping. I would rather be protected, than not and have something happen. So far so good, I have not had to use it.
